Status rules

• draft: candidate needs research.
• needs-recheck: official route found, but content-type/model/region/OS evidence needs final review.
• verified: official page, exact model target, content types, safety notes, and no-hosting policy reviewed.

Firmware and driver caution

Firmware, BIOS, router updates, printer utilities, and OS-specific drivers can damage devices or create security issues if the wrong model or revision is used. Always confirm exact vendor instructions.

Evidence boundaries

If a vendor does not publish checksums or signatures, DeviceVeriq will not claim that such vendor evidence exists. Self-computed hashes or redirect checks are auxiliary review notes only.
